Megha Kothari, M.D. is an attending physician at New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she is the Assistant Director of Hepatology and Director of Women’s Health.
Dr. Kothari is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine with subspecialty training in Hepatology. She received her B.A. from the Rutgers University and earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kothari completed her residency in Internal Medicine at NSLIJ-Lenox Hill Hospital. After residency, she completed fellowship training in Hepatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed her fellowship training in Gastroenterology at NSLIJ-Lenox Hill Hospital. During her fellowship training, she focused on liver related diseased and integration of women’s health within the Gastroenterology.
Dr. Kothari’s clinical interests encompass all of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, and Women’s Digestive Health.
Dr. Kothari is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
She is fluent in English, Gujurati, and Hindi. Dr. Kothari accepts all insurances and is available for consultation at the following locations:
